ascamsdk support a variety of APIs, including: Native C/C++,.NET/C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, DirectShow, Twain, LabView, Matlab, etc. Compared with other APIs, Native C/C++ API as a low-level API is characterized by using pure C/C++ development without relying on other runtime libraries. The interface is simple and the control is flexible.
AttosTek provides extensive third-party software support for its UV-Vis cameras and SWIR cameras, facilitating rapid integration and use in various development environments. This includes SDK and demo programs for LabVIEW and MATLAB, as well as DirectShow drivers, Micromanager, and TWAIN SDK drivers. These features enable seamless compatibility with mainstream development environments and third-party software, greatly simplifying the workflow for system integration and secondary development.
For the SWIR0503ACL SWIR camera (CameraLink interface), the recommended frame grabber is:

Q1:Why doesn't the SWIR0503A camera require cutting the sample for non-destructive moisture detection in fruits and vegetables?
Imaging principle of the SWIR0503A series cameras: Water molecules contain O-H chemical bonds, which show strong characteristic absorption valleys around 1450nm in the shortwave infrared range. The water content differs between intact fruit flesh and areas affected by mold or insect damage, so infrared imaging grayscale will show clear differences. This lets you check internal quality without cutting the fruit.
These cameras have a readout noise of only 176.7e⁻, so even tiny differences in water content can be accurately detected. The global shutter eliminates motion blur from fast-moving fruit conveyors, making them perfect for fruit sorting lines.
Q2:How should I choose among the four cameras in the SWIR0503A series?
All four cameras are equipped with the Sony IMX991 SenSWIR InGaAs sensor, with identical pixel size, resolution, and cooling, so the imaging quality is completely the same, differing only in data interface and frame rate. The SWIR0503AU camera is suitable for laboratories, small desktop equipment, and short-distance transmission, offering plug-and-play functionality.
The SWIR0503AG camera transmits data via network cable, allowing long-distance transmission, and is suitable for industrial long-distance wiring and automated production lines, making it the first choice for material sorting.
The SWIR0503ACXP features high-bandwidth stable output, suitable for high-speed laser monitoring and high-precision semiconductor online inspection; it requires a dedicated CXP capture card.
The SWIR0503ACL camera has a high bandwidth ceiling, compatible with traditional vision acquisition systems and high-frame-rate research platforms, and comes with CLView software.
Q3:Which systems is AttosView compatible with, and what image analysis features does it come with?
System Support: AttosView is compatible with Win7/10/11 64-bit systems; the accompanying SDK covers Win32/WinRT/Linux/macOS/Android, and also supports ARM industrial control motherboards.
Built-in Professional Features: Software/hardware and external dual trigger modes, automatic/manual exposure, three-level gain, image flipping, 12 sets of custom dark field correction, histogram, profile line, regional grayscale statistics, pixel grayscale reading, timestamp frame recording, firmware online upgrade, hardware noise reduction.
CameraLink models additionally come with CLView dedicated acquisition software.
