Cooling system |
1) The cooling system of the camera uses a built-in TEC cooling chip for the sensor, with external heat dissipation structure and fan auxiliary heat dissipation, the working temperature can be adjusted to a specific value, the effective cooling temperature can be lower than the ambient temperature of 40℃, and the high-efficiency cooling system ensures extremely low dark current level; |
Q1 : SWIR033A application principle in high-precision semiconductor and photovoltaic inspection scenarios, and which native hardware features of the camera match these requirements?
Imaging Principle: Silicon-based materials are transparent in the short-wave infrared range above 1000nm. Visible light can only observe surface scratches on workpieces, while the 400–1700nm spectrum can penetrate the surface layer of silicon wafers to detect internal micro-cracks, voids, impurities, dark spots, and other subsurface defects. Different semiconductor media have varying infrared reflectivity, so the defect areas appear with distinct grayscale differences, meeting high-precision quality inspection needs.
The SWIR033A series cameras feature a 3-megapixel resolution (2048×1536) with 3.45μm small pixels, offering stronger detail resolution in the same field of view. They can detect micron-level tiny defects and are suitable for batch inspection of large-size wafers and full photovoltaic panels.
Spectral response range is 400–1700nm, and they can flexibly switch detection modes with the factory’s two types of optical filters.
With –10℃ TEC active cooling paired with a PID temperature control algorithm, long-exposure dark current is suppressed, making it suitable for long-exposure PV EL imaging with lower noise and better image consistency.
Equipped with multiple programmable digital IOs, the camera can link with production line sensors, rejection mechanisms, and light source controllers to build an automated closed-loop inspection system.
Q2 : How to choose among the four cameras in the SWIR033A series?
All four cameras are equipped with Sony IMX993 SenSWIR InGaAs sensors, with identical pixel size, resolution, and cooling, so the imaging quality is exactly the same. The only differences are in data interface and frame rate. Among them, the SWIR033AU camera is suitable for labs, small desktop setups, and short-distance transmission—plug and play.
The SWIR033AG camera transmits data via Ethernet, supports long-distance transmission, and is ideal for industrial long-distance wiring, automated production lines, and material sorting.
The SWIR033ACXP provides high-bandwidth stable output, suitable for high-speed laser monitoring and high-precision on-line semiconductor inspection, and requires a dedicated CXP capture card.
The SWIR033ACL camera has a high bandwidth ceiling, compatible with traditional vision acquisition systems and high-frame-rate research platforms, and comes with CLView software.
Q3 : Is it possible to do secondary development on Linux and Android embedded platforms
Sure. The SDK provides compiled library files for the corresponding system architecture along with complete sample programs. It supports development on ARM-based embedded boards and is suitable for custom development of embedded online detection devices, portable spectroscopy collection devices, and mobile near-infrared detection instruments.
